Tom from Golden Retrofit & Foundation Repair was so knowledgable. We had to hire a retrofit company to strengthen an foundation of an house builded in 50's, and make necessary correction to existing foundation concerns. Not only the crew did a great job, Tom explained the work performed, which really provided an assurance of our concerns. The work was done great, the price was very reasonable and very honest.

We got our foundation retrofitted with golden retrofit last year. We had a very positive experience with them and thought their pricing was fair. Their communication was great and the overall experience was very professional. We recently noticed a newly formed crack in the wall, and the receptionist offered to have a technician look at some pictures if I emailed them over, which I really appreciated! They got the email, and David offered to come out to the house and take a look to make sure everything was okay. Which was way more than I expected! He came out less than a week later and looked at the crack and crawled under the house to make sure everything still looked good. They deserved a five star review for the initial work, but man, to give us that extra peace of mind that everything is okay is just really wonderful. I'll be very happy to recommend them if any friends ever need foundation work!

Levy is an absolute pro and was the reason I chose Golden Retrofit. I had a somewhat complex problem and he helped educate me on my options and what he would do if it were his home. Long story short, my home had settled and the flooring in certain parts of my home were un-level and did not feel well supported. Upon Levy's inspection he confirmed that the foundation lacked proper supports, with the existing supports spanning too great a distance. Rather than trying to solve the leveling issue (what would have been an incredibly expensive task), Levy suggested we focus on properly supporting the home. I took his advice and the project I moved forward with was adding multiple support girders to better support the subfloor and I also had them do a full seismic retrofit. They completed both tasks in a single day and cleaned up after the job. They also coordinated the inspection/permitting with the city. I later hired a flooring contractor who leveled the flooring and installed hardwood. Based on a few other quotes I received, which varied a bit in scope, Golden Retrofit re pricing was perhaps on the higher end slightly, but Levy gained my trust and gave me confidence that I was moving forward in the best way so it was worth it. The entire process from sales visit to completion was 5-star worthy.

Everything about this company is awesome - from the delightful employees communicating over the phone and email, Michael's very down-to-earth and honest attitude, and the excellent job done by the workers who actually do the hard stuff of crawling under the house. We are thrilled to have had this work completed by such a competent crew! We had our house bolted to the foundation recently (a "seismic retrofit" job), and just passed inspection. This was something long overdue, but not terribly urgent; our house is not directly on a fault line, but earthquakes do make things jiggle now and then. The other bonus was that their price was thousands of dollars less than another foundation company that also has great reviews, so I'm really happy that I decided to get another bid, which led to the discovery of these awesome folks!

I will be referring/using you in the future! I read the reviews and called for a free inspection of our home. We had some bad water damage and worried that our house was sinking/shifting due to the kitchen floor being wavy. Levy came out, called beforehand to let me know he was on the way, and arrived on-time. I was impressed by this digital level he used, which he fully explained how this measures the shifting of the floors. I cannot say enough nice things about Levy and his company. First, thank you for the free estimate and peace of mind. Levy went into our crawl space, did a full inspection and calmed our nerves about any damage we had. Turned out to be an easy fix. Michael, from Golden Retrofit came to my house to do an inspection. He was professional, had a great attention to detail and informative. It was also nice that he was able to give me a quote on the spot. The whole time I was evaluating my options, Michael was very responsive. We even got on a phone call later over a month later and Michael was still very patient and willing to walk me through the proposal and explain in details what his team would do. I did have other competing companies and did not go with Michael and Golden Retrofit in the end due to finding a better price but the entire experience was very professional.

Can’t thank Golden Retrofit enough. I had sloping floors in about half of my home. I had multiple companies that wanted to do a complete leveling or replace almost all of my foundation. Eventually, we contacted Golden Retrofit and had an appointment scheduled within a week. I received a call from David letting me know when he was about 30 minutes away. When David showed up he was very thorough with his inspection. He was able to point out the slopes and went under the home to find the reason why. He then said they they can do a partial leveling and reinforce the foundation for a very reasonable price. During the work the workers were on time and very clean and respectful. Overall a wonderful experience, I highly recommend using them for you foundation needs.

Noticed over time my foundation may have been impacted from years of poor water management around the house. Golden retrofit came highly recommended so I called them. David from Golden Retrofit came to my house this morning to inspect for a foundation issue. He arrived on time and was extremely professional! He checked and found that there were very minor issues and he recommended not doing anything about it as he said that the soil in my area is expansive and that even if we did something today, it could move again. He fixed a closet door that wasn't opening free of charge! I appreciated his integrity and him not trying to sell me something I didn't need! Such integrity is very rare these days! I would strongly recommend that you call them to inspect your home before you choose to do any work!

Golden Retrofit was an excellent choice for our home foundational needs! I was amazed at their level of response and professionalism every step of the way. The home we needed to work on was 130 years old (historic building!) and was not leveled on the right side about 1.5-2 inches and needed a lot of foundational work. I was actually quoted 3 times the amount more from another company than what Golden Retrofit told me what was necessary. I appreciated the photos they took of the foundation to explain the scope of work that would be done before anything was decided. We had one side of our house leveled about 2 inches, other parts of the floor was leveled by beam adjustments and the foundation was retrofitted. When the actual work started, they were always in communication with me which I really appreciated. It was estimated that the work would take 3-4 days but ended up taking 6 because they found so much rotten wood behind the walls. I was so grateful and blown away that they would take the time to make the correct necessary repairs when it cost them more materials and labor. They did not charge me more than the original quoted cost and I know they didn't make as much money on the job then expected. However, they communicated that they strived for excellence in their workmanship and highly prized the satisfaction of their client! I will say also that the detail of clean up and finishing was amazing. They redid the stucco that they had to open up and when I drove up they were painting the walls and trim and left cosmetically better than what was before! When I was getting quotes from other companies, that finishing service was not included. For our final inspection with the City, the inspector literally told my husband, "When I heard it was Golden Retrofit that did the job, I get to relax". That says a lot of about this company's track record. On a side note, my duplex home was broken into twice over the weekend and the 2nd time the glass door was shattered and a mess. Angel, the lead on the team from Golden Retrofit, offered to plywood the door with their materials for free after their day's work! I was so thankful! Overall, I am so happy to have had Golden Retrofit work on our home. I would highly recommend! Thank you Tom, Angel, Joey and the Team!

Top notch service from start to finish. I can’t recommend them enough. I contacted Golden Retrofit to do an inspection for a house I am buying as I suspected foundation issues. The process was easy and simple. They were able to schedule my appointment quickly, and they arrived on time. I must admit I really appreciated the call I got when the raprisentative was on his way. David (my inspector) took his time to inspect the whole house top to bottom, and inside out.
